"You know that feeling when we look through our grandparents and our great grandparent's photos? The feeling of nostalgia with a tinge of longing. I am creating that feeling for our children and our children's children. We aren't the creators of memories, the people in our lens do that. But we are the creators of the time capsule that hold the memories living out before out eyes."
I wanted to capture fresh playful love. The beginning stages, the honeymoon phase. Child-like exploration. Time is fleeting and memories are often forgotten in the confines of life’s progression. It’s a time capsule of our most precious phases. We meet so many people whether they are here with us for a week, a month, decades. Everyone who enters our world becomes a sentence or chapter in our story. That is why I love the art I do because I get to take that story that everyone is unknowingly writing and show it with emotive imagery. The pureness, the rawness of the souls I am honored to document.
