"Photography is the most amazing catalyst for capturing true, authentic love between two imperfect people. People who choose to see the best in each other and fight for their relationship. The truth is -- love is HARD. It takes work, requires compromise, and more often times than not, might leave you feeling down right exhausted -- but coincidentally, it is the most BEAUTIFUL, life-giving, soul-filling journey in this life. And THAT is why I love photography. THAT is the type of honesty I seek to capture with my couples. THAT is the stamp I hope to leave on this world."
This shoot was the definition of fun and freezing! Dan (Danielle) and Noah wanted their engagement pictures to feel quirky and candid, since that is the epitome of their relationship, so we decided on a Historic Movie Theater in Upstate New York. We wanted to channel all the retro and eclectic vibes, so the theater ended up being the perfect venue, straight out of the ’70s. It had the perfect vintage, rust-colored palette! Only regret? Not bringing a Chewbacca suit for at least one picture.
