„My obsession with documenting human connection started at a very young age. For as long as i can remember, I always had a camera in hand. I have always known that there is something so precious about being able to capture a fleeting moment that may otherwise go unnoticed. I feel so blessed to be trusted with documenting some of the most intimate and important moments in peoples lives; to be a visual storyteller for others, able to evoke memories and emotions through images that last a lifetime.“
I have dreamt of bringing this vision to life for a very long time! As I spent a large part of my childhood as a dancer/gymnast, I have always been so captivated by movement , rhythm and the strength and capability of the human form. I wanted to capture love and human connection through dance. I rented a studio space downtown Toronto, rented a beautiful dress from the amazing Reclamation Design Company and recruited the perfect models, who just so happen to be a real life, professional dancer/stuntman and long-term couple. I have had a lot of experience with action photography (I started out with motocross photography), so my experience with capturing fast paced motion images was put to the test. I feel so thrilled with how this session turned out; how i captured the play of light, the sharpness of the moving subjects, the delicacy (yet strength), and lines of their movements. This shoot was a dream come true.
