I’ve been wanting to do a creative out of the box shoot on the roof of a parking garage where I could put my heart into it so I put out a model call. My goal was to I wanted to create a fun rooftop date experience, something different and that hasn’t been done here by other photogs. Jenni and James were the perfect fit for my adventurous and free-spirited couples shoot. I choose a rooftop location across from American Village and the Ferris wheel, a well known area here in Okinawa, which fit into the mood of a fun and causal session. I started the session as a date night having them eat their favorite pizza and music. I had an idea to use a skateboard and they ran with it even though neither had ever used one before. While we were on the rooftop, I found a shopping cart and told them to get in go crazy. The whole session was filled with laughter and love. The session was everything I had imagined it to be. Having creative control of the session I was able to bring my vision to life. After the session, they told me how much fun they had. Jenni even mentioned that there were times she felt like she was falling in love with her husband again.
