"When I was little I always preferred books with lots of pictures, and even growing up I kept that habit. Because we always understand an idea better when it is illustrated with a good image. And that’s what attracts me the most in photography: All my shootings are an opportunity to translate into image the history of people, their emotions, their feelings, while remaining faithful. It is in the post-treatment that I add my own aesthetic interpretation, also to affirm all that I managed to capture during the session and all that I could feel in contact with my lovers."
As soon as they can, Marie and Hugo escape from the city to be alone in the calm and serenity of the woods, 1 hour from Paris. It’s in this small cabin, lost in the middle of the forest on the banks of the Seine, that I was able to capture their children’s laughter and their gestures of tenderness. The joy of being on weekend, the joy of being together, an autumn break away from their daily Parisian lives.
