"Ever stumble across old photos of your grandparents when they were your age, young and in love? I have so many old photographs of that love that I cherish and I always thought it was so cool to be able to witness a moment I wasn't even around for. Photography gives us that superpower and I love being that person that can provide that tangible memory of two people now and to their future generations."
Sam and Jake drove out on their Harley and met me on a quiet backroad in the country to capture some non-traditional, fun-loving engagement photos to mirror their love. As always with any shoot, I played music (they chose country) and just let them be. I always look to capture authentic moments with minimal intervention or direction on my part and will forever be in love with the honest and organic little in-betweens. I want images to genuinely reflect them as a couple, not what I forced them to be and they came out as just as those two are – playful, flirty and badass.
