Our wedding was planned for June 27th 2020. We were meant to celebrate with our families and friends from all around the world. Unfortunately, due to 2020 being an absolute legend, our wedding got cancelled as most of our loved ones were not able to travel. In fact, since our wedding was planned abroad, we were not able to travel for it ourselves. We decided to mark the cancellation date by taking self portraits in Venice, where we are both based and work as photographers. To make it special we booked a weekend in a lovely boutique hotel by the Grand Canal, Cima Rosa, and felt as if we were on our honeymoon – even though we were actually home! Starting off at the 15th Century palace, we wandered around the island until late night and took our very last shots at Piazza San Marco. It was magic!
