"One of the biggest reasons that I love photography is because I get to capture a moment in time that someone will be able to remember forever. Most of my clients are people travelling to Scotland from elsewhere in the world, whether that’s elsewhere in Europe, or America, Canada, Asia, Australia… we get people coming here from all over the world to experience the beautiful landscapes that Scotland has to offer! It is a real privilege to get to work with so many people from so many different parts of the world, and the absolute best thing about is is that we get to see this country that we call home through the fresh eyes of people coming to visit it. "
These two are such a sweet couple! They are based in New York and got in touch with me around 6 months before their trip to Scotland to book a couples session. Talking with them about their plans for the trip and the session, I just knew they would be the best clients! They were so easy going and so in love with the candid, fun, natural style of photography that I base my work around. We got on so well and I was so excited to meet them and work with them!
They are also big Harry Potter fans so Glenfinnan Viaduct was the perfect location to start the session. We timed it so that the Hogwarts Express would drive past as we were there and it was so exciting – childhood dream come true! We then headed out to Glencoe for the second location, and we were able to arrive right after a storm, giving us moody Glencoe with its valleys and Munros and waterfalls in all of its magnificence! These two humans are the sweetest, and they were so easy to get on with and work with, I am so grateful to get to do this and experience the beautiful Scotland through the eyes of people travelling here.
