"We are friends since school, we know each other for a very long time and photography was always "a thing". Maybe it's because we love aesthetics and are just happy to create something that, in our perception, is aesthetic. Maybe it's because we want to capture volatile and authentic moments between a couple and therefore create memories, which may last for long. Maybe it's because, we think photography is a circular process, it changes the way we perceive things, people or moments and possibly these things, people or moments change us too."
We know this very special and beautiful couple and thought: okay, we want to do a photoshooting, that captures the uniqueness of both of them. Usually the bride is some sort of main attraction at a wedding or a styled shoot, but together with the groom, Hank, we decided to give him a special outfit, a white suit with a black flowerprint shirt to also bring him in focus. We wanted to keep the accessoires and make-up of the bride, Anni, very simple because we love her lineaments. As they are a real-life couple, we tried to capture the authentic moments of their relationsship and love. We hope you like the results as much as we do.
