"In my main job, I see much suffering, pain, grief. I enter the most personal zones, often in intimate moments. In order to do this job and not suffering any psychological damage, you have to stand firmly with both feet in life. Have a balance. A counterweight. And my counterweight is photography. There is nothing that enriches me more than capturing love between two people. And no, that's not an empty, default phrase, because I know the other side: loss, pain, grief. And it makes me happy - and for me it is a gift - that I have the ability to use a camera and thereby make the interpersonal ties visible to others - with my own personal touch."

I was quite nervous when I met them two for the first time. I doubted myself if I am able to take pictures of more stable people in a way that makes them look beautiful. Because, who doesn’t not know that shitty feeling, even lean people are often dissatisfied with themselves. But with Katharina everything was different – she is so content with herself and everything outside – she fascinated me and inspired me to think deeper. She does not care about how other people look at her and what others think about her. She does not think about what she can wear or what flatters her figure. And I personally could learn so much from her – she lives the example of a happy, content woman, who is deeply in love. And gives a shit on dress sizes. We should listen to ourselves much more than others. Stop striving for perfection. To ask if you have the perfect figure for a dress. And above all, to feel bad because you do not have the perfect Instagram wedding. We have to fight against this perfectionist trend in weddings: every wedding is beautiful, even in a gym – when we celebrate two people there who deeply and deeply love each other. You do not need a perfect boho location, decoration or the best view from the mountain. She does not care about how other people look at her and what others think about her.
